Edison Miranda vs. Renan St. Juste March 19th

St-Juste packs a pretty decent counter left. We'll see.

 

That does scare me some! I am sure that interbox and team St Juste must think they can win. I'm sure it will be a battle early and St Juste will test Miranda's questionable chin. I'll make the trip. Montreal is a fun place!

 

Miranda will probably wins this, and then get a shot at Stieglitz. We've seen a clear a pattern with both Miranda and Zuniga in recent years. They beat the snot out of a club fighter or two, get a shot at a top guy, lose, beat the snot out of a club fighter, get a shot at a top guy, lose, beat the snot out of . . . . ad nauseum.

 

To be fair, St-Juste isn't a club fighter. He's more like a gatekeeper, right now (like Miranda, who's more proven). And do you really consider the German a ''top guy''? It's very winnable for both of these fighters, IMO.

Actually I would love to see Miranda get a shot at Stieglitz. If Edison is ever going to win a "world title" Stieglitz would probably be the only real chance he'll ever get.

Why do you guys think Miranda or St. Juste will get a shot at Stieglitz ?

 

With his left.. perhaps. Haven't been hit by either one.

But Lemieux is more of a two-handed bomber.

This fight is the case of who lands first....I would like St-Juste to win but St-Juste does'nt like to get hit at all and Miranda hits really hard...IMO Miranda has a better chin than St-Juste but if St-Juste can land that counter left hook early he has a chance ...

 

If Miranda wins, he'll almost certainly get a shot. They won't let Stieglitz in there with someone with good skills (because he'd lose), and Miranda still has name recognition in Germany from the Arthur Abraham fights.

 

Miranda is not using Goossen for this fight....

Can Edison rebuild his career or what do you think?

He should go for Braehmer in Germany. He's there for the taking if you can put some velocity on the punches.

 

Should be fun while it lasts. How's St Juste's chin? I'll pick Pantera early anyway.
