Pantera for me, easily.. People are forgetting that he can also box and I really think that he is in higher level than St. Juste.. I think Miranda stops him in late rounds.

St Juste is ranked 4th Miranda is not ranked at all by the WBO. how much can St Juste rise in rankings after beating a non-ranked boxer.Dirrell is #1 WBO doesn't that gives him the right to be mandatory?

Miranda doesn't fit in there anywhere.. he is not ranked by the WBO:
How much ca Miranda rise in the top15 WBO .... not higher than 5-6 IMHO
Before of him will be Dirrell,Mendy,Degale,Balzsay.

Bute will not fight Mendy without him having another fight... so Mendy being ranked 3 by the WBO could fight any1 who is in top10 and take the #1 place in their rankings becomming mandatory for Stieglitz.

The fight isn't presented as a WBO eliminator ... So why do you guy's think any of them will be Stieglitz mandatory ?

Well, last time Miranda was scheduled to fight Stieglitz, it was an optional defense.

Ornelas was an optional defense so now it's a mandatory next for Stieglitz...i'm guessing.

Maybe for the next optional fight, after Stieglitz mandatory?

I met Edison Miranda briefly at the airport after Thanksgiving. Very nice fella.

Wish him the best in his next fight. He's had some major setbacks, but he's always fun to watch. I've never heard of St. Juste, but I'm also not a huge follower of the higher weightclasses.

Against Upshaw, i think that St-Juste had cracked ribs and decided to go along with the fight. He looked awful but ever since, he wanted to take that defeat back from Upshaw.

If St-Juste wins, he could well be in for a title bout.

are you saying that St. Juste had cracked ribs prior to the fight or that it happened during the fight?

Prior to the fight. That's what he heard.

Miranda could get a shot at Stieglitz because his a well known name in Germany and only as an optional defense but why did you guys were thinking that this fight is like a eliminator ( the winner "could/might" fight for the WBO)?
Where there any rumors or just you where hoping for that to happen.
Who was Stieglitz last mandatory ...wasn't that other young german, Gutk...
like 7 months ago in maximum 5 months he needs to fight a new mandatory right? So his next fight should be mandatory , No ? So Miranda is out of the question. No?
St Juste is ranked 4th so... can he really take the #1 spot if he beats a non-ranked fighter?
I guess St Juste could become mandatory if Dirrell and Mendy refuses the WBO proposal for a fight against Stieglitz... would they ?
But there is nothing related to this fight only related to the WBO rankings

I never said it was an eliminator but look at the WBO rankings... Not very hard to climb them. Also, Stieglitz' team have been in talks with Interbox when they declined a fight against Bute, and St-Juste is also with Interbox. There could have been some talks. That's only speculation at this time but the winner of St-Juste and Miranda will be in a good position to have a shot, maybe not for the mandatory but for an optional defense.

So after Stieglitz refused to fight Bute this is Interbox's plan B ? :D
St. Juste beats Miranda and gets a shot at Stieglitz for the WBO... and after that a Bute v St. Juste unification IBF/WBO ? :D The fight might be made about the same time with the S6 final. :think

If the Germans ever let St-Juste/Miranda near Stieglitz in a ring they'll have options on him for the rest of his life.

I think they have thrown the towel conerning the WBO belt and Bute. If they can put another of their guys instead, why not?

I think Miranda will win, though, and they know it too, but at 38 that's St-Juste's only chance.
