Sure, the Germans would love to Pavlik. I hear they reserved a special room for him right on top of the local Hofbräuhaus. Here's to Kelly.... :drink

Bat, in defense of Bute, I know his team has tried to get bigger, better fights. HBO was pushing for some too last year. I really do not think Lucian would have any trouble fighting the best. He believes in himself and wants the recognition. His promoter is a very very smart and successful business man. He makes a killing at the gate in the Bell Centre. I have seen nothing like it. You can't blame Bute for others not wanting to fight him in Montreal, and you can blame Bute for his promoter wanting the most money and keeping him at home where it pays. Now when I hear an offer from someone like Kessler that is too good to turn away for Bute, and he turns it down, well then I will take your side. Until then, IMHO, Bute is fighting the best willing to fight him. Many have turned down his offers.

Showtime must be paying him well for the unrealistic fights.

ahhh Cmon Boo. Do you really have to bring up the past?!?!?
It just brings tears to my eyes even now.

I'd post the Hopkins schooling for you, but you would have to suffer through 12 rounds of absolute horror. Even I would feel bad to make you sit through that again. :D

I've watched Hopkins/Pavlik about 5 or 6 times. Why would watching a great fighter pull off a stunning upset make me "feel bad?"

Pantera... the thing about Kessler came from Bute's mouth in an interview in romanian. I'll search and translate it for you.

Yeah. I don't blame the fighter that much. Yet.

You have a promotor that earns big bucks and selling out arenas regardless of opposition. It's fairly obvious that they want to milk the cash cow for as long as they can. That was the case for Calzaghe in Wales and Ottke in Germany. Eventually one of those guys stepped it up. Let's hope that Bute doesn't resemble the latter.

I dont know what happened with Ottke, but I can see why people did not want to fight him in Germany. Canada has gotten a little of a bad rap recently with the first Andrade/Bute fight (which Bute would have won regardless since he got off the canvas before the count of 10) and more recently the Pascal/Hopkins fights. Although I had Hopkins winning, considering the two knock downs, it was a close fight. The MD does not bother me so much. Now you look at some Ottke decisions and you just want to shoot someone. Sauderland is by far the most crooked guy in any sport. Canada is no different than any other home country, USA included.

All I am saying is that the fights you listed up was highly unrealistic IMO. I reckon you are in for a huge dissapointment.

Lucian how did you end up fighting Magee?

I've made an offer to Kessler, but he refused. He said he is not ready yet for a match in March.Kelly Pavlik said no from the start(probably because he was about to go to rehab)
I want to stay at SMW.Dimitri Sartison şi Robert Stieglitz have turned me down to.

We heard that Stieglitz and Sartoson had very good offers, financially.
Not only they, but all of them. I wanted to fight the best of my weightclass, but they weren't availeble. I have to wait until the super six is over.

Why didn't you choose the one who exit the super six? Alan Green...
Then what would they say about it? That iI choose to fight the one who was KO'ed by Edison Miranda, the one that I beat this year in 3 rounds! Or that the last fight from Super Six he lost by KO in front of the veteran, Glen Johnson!

    Sakio Bika?
I've already beat Bika once. What was the point? Magee was on Showtime's list, he was accepted immediately. He is the European champion, no 1 WBA, unbeaten in the last 10 fights, practically the most valuable amongst the one who where available (He get's angry...)

Do you mind the comments about the value of your opponents?
Yes, but that motivates me even more.I'll prepare like I've never did it before and I'll Knock him out in the 1st round if I can.So that everybody will tell that Bute is very good and not that his opponents are very weak. But even if I beat the Super Six winner there still gonna be some that will say that they bring me only Tomato can's to fight against.

    What are those "Tomato cans"
I saw that this term is used by some that suggest that I should fight either Vitali Klitschko , or Pacquiao.

The rumor is that you'll be fighting for 2 mil in this match...
It is a fixed amount of money because it depends on ticket sell and pay-per-view.You know I don't like to talk about purses.

    Whats' your schedule next
I'm gonna go in a short vacation, and on the 8th January I'm gonna start preparing hard for the fight

I think Magee-Kessler-Ward is Showtime A plan. If Kessler is not available for Bute's next fight, Dirrell could be there. He has to come back on Showtime, his contract stipulates it. The Froch-Johnson loser could also face Bute. Johnson has already said he would accept to fight his friend. I don't believe Abraham could be one, because if he loses against Ward, he'll return to the MW division.

If Showtime guarantees for Bute a shot with the super 6 winner and his 2 belts, he will not face a mandatory like Mendy. He'll drop his belt.

I know Bute well enough to say he wasn't happy the way things were stalling for him. He's ready and wants the best. He had to clear Andrade from hi head, but he called everyone after his spectacular KO: I'm ready for anyone.

I hope 2011 will be his year.

Of course I don't what even to hear about what you post as next possible fights. Magee should be his last "easy" fight.
