Here they are. A variety of skill levels on display here, from James Corbett to rank amateurs. All filmed before 1900.

Corbett vs. Courtney (film quality isn't great, but this is Corbett at his best)

Two Amateurs (Mislabeled "comic boxing" on Youtube. Actually, they're just bad. However, it gives you a GREAT opportunity to see how they guarded left-hand leads--the prototype of the modern jab)

Leonard vs. Cushing (Leonard was apparently a somewhat notable fighter)

Boxing Women (and you thought it started with Laila Ali!)

    Something Incredibly Action-Packed

And now for something completely different...

This stuff rocks my ****, CT! :good

If I didn't know any better, I'd swear the black-dress Gordon sister was Joe Calzaghe.

BTW, I'm sure the terms of your Bergeron Avatar Club must have been met by now. :yep

They almost had Sullivan sparring with Courtney instead of Corbett.

That would have been quite a little gem.

Shame he backed out at the last minute to be replaced by Corbett.

I am merely awaiting Bergeron's inevitable rise to heavyweight dominance.
