I didn't know it until recently but I think that peterson is finally stepping up the competition by fighting cherry, cherry is a good fighter but in my opinion the lightweight division right know is incredible, Khan, Nate, Pacman just to name a few. Who do you have winning?
Peterson can box and bang.... Cherry is a known banger.... So I think the chances of Peterson winning are favorable.... However, this is a step up and Cherry doesn't back down.... We know little to nothing about the chin of Anthony Peterson and Edner will get us a good indication to where it is.... I think Peterson will be forced to box...
We're going to see how Peterson reacts to a speedy, fluid, counterpunching boxer/puncher. For the last few years Peterson has been doing nothing but picking off straight-ahead Mexican brawlers. He can phone in a performance and still win. Cherry is coming off 12 competitive rounds with champion Timothy Bradley. Not a bad primer for Peterson. I see this as a pick 'em fight. It's going to be close on the cards.
hopefully we'll see what kind of chin Anthony has, becuzz as far as i know thats still a question mark...
