I don't hear much about him as a trainer but the guy is great. He has groomed two world champions: Fernando Vargas and Robert Garcia, and soon to be Mikey Garcia. Not to mention the involvement he had in the boxing upbringing of Victor Ortiz. Once Mikey becomes champion, he will have literally raised, trained, and groomed three world champions from scratch, pretty impressive.
