Who wins this ultimate battle of left-hooking boxer-bomber MWs?

Lausse more durable, and just as explosive.Fullmer did not want a return go.

I think the difference could be Lausse's better defensive ability, he had good upperbody movement while Fernandez was more straight-up and quite easy to hit. I don't think either are tough enough to take the others' punches consistently. Lausse might overwhelm Fernandez early, Fernadez could catch up to Lausse late.

Lausse by KO, probably within the first couple of rounds. He`s got the better chin, more explosive punching power and as already stated was harder to hit with a clean shot due to his upper body movement than the more upright leave my chin hanging in the air Fernandez.

My bet is Eduardo lands a cracking left hook on his chin in the middle of an exchange and flattens him a la Kalingo early before Floro works up a sweat and gets into his groove.

Should he survive the early going though Floro will give Lausse some tense moments I`m sure as he was a real force once he got a sweat going, but I still see him inevitably getting stopped at some point, that chin of his just can`t be relied upon against a banger like Lausse.

RB, I agree with you..and thanks to you I've been able to spend a good amount of time getting reaquainted with both of these guys. I think Lausse had that Argentinian toughness and resiliancy about him, and would have withstood the powerful Fernandez's best shots to post a 7th or 9th round ko, if not like you say, in the first couple of rounds.
