Lausse puts his lights out within 7 rounds in a absolute war of a fight. Benn was never hard to hit especially leading up to the Watson fight at middle and his wide, wild haymakers would get countered by Lausse`s shorter, crisper right crosses and thunderous left hooks to both head and body. Eduardo has the clear edge as far as chin and durability are concerned, and since they are both terrific punchers you would have to favour the guy with the better whiskers and stylistic advantage and that is the Argentinian.

I won`t count Benn out completely though as he would be fighting back every step of the way especially when hurt or stunned, and he does have the power to stop Lausse if he hits him often enough but I think Eduardo will calmly look for the openings for his left hook to present themselves and since Benn`s style will give him plenty of them I reckon he lands one too many by round 5 or 6 and Benn either gets dropped and counted out or stopped on his feet. This would have been a pier sixer all the way, and the real winners would have been the fans as these guys both came to fight and not to prance around the ring like a fairy throwing love taps at one another.
