    No, not before 1920.

The SMW Division was introduced in 1967. Until then, LHW covered >160 up to 175.

You already acknowledged that the SMW didn’t exist in LaMotta’s time. If it did, name the SMW Champ of the day??

You’ve contradicted yourself numerous times and you are stupid beyond words.

Only stupid is you and you're lying too.

Lhw was found in 1920 and the limit was 168 pounds as stated in wikipedia.

Thank god you aren't a moderator, or else this forum would run like it was from 2002.

I don't think forums on the internet ran too well before the modern home computer was even invented.

At the end of a sentence we use a punctuation mark called period not ellipsis.

    Professional
In professional boxing, the division is above 168 pounds (76 kg) and up to 175 pounds (79 kg), falling between super middleweight and cruiserweight.

The light heavyweight class has produced some of boxing's greatest champions: Bernard Hopkins (who, upon becoming champion, broke the record for oldest man to win a world title), Tommy Loughran, Billy Conn, Joey Maxim, Archie Moore, Michael Moorer, Bob Foster, Ann Wolfe, Michael Spinks, Dariusz Michalczewski, Roy Jones Jr., Sergey Kovalev and Zsolt Erdei.

This is why you're among my two favorite posters along with JT (you've since taken his place as Numero Uno since his treacherous vote in the Williams-Lewis poll),
