Solid, well schooled, durable pressure fighter. Not amazing at any one thing, but not bad at anything, either. Deserved the win over Oosthuizen, imo.

He's a really good athlete, with a good workrate and he will definitely show up in peak condition. I guess you could say he's a smaller version of Ward, without the instincts or polish.
He's definitely a live dog, but I am not sure if the judges will give him the benefit of the doubt with close rounds.

Yeah because Gonzalez needs a KO to win, but it's likely to go the distance.

DeGale ain't much chop, but if he lasts the distance, he wins at home.

That's the way I see it. DeGale might be too much for this guy tbh, but Gonzales does need the KO because he wont be getting any favors from the judges.

Teddy Atlas said that "Flawless" Brandon Gonzales has one flaw: he jabs and is slow at bringing his hand back.

I watched his last fight and he has good skills overall. He can defend well, has average power and is a live underdog.

He had a draw with Tommy "Gun" Oosthuisen, another fighter who has good overall skills and also undefeated.

SMW is the deepest division in boxing in terms of talent. And Ward is missing it all for a court battle he knows he can't win. If he wants to retire, he should just retire.
