Found this article, and liked it very much. A while back I made a thread about the top southpaw boxers (before we lost all the threads) and many brought his name up. I can't find video of him on the net but I know a few of you are familiar with him. http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news?slug=ys-maxbox012208&prov=yhoo&type=lgns I'm interested in southpaw fighters that are less known- if anyone has any names of even better any film of fighters they would like to share it would be much appreciated. Or if anyone would like to share their top 10 southpaw list that would be appreciated the same.
Loi was an intersting boxer. He only lost once in first 110 fights, and avenged all losses. I hear he was robbed vs Johansen, but later avenged that loss. Loi was short and a southpaw. A bit like Maricano in style, but without the punch. I would put Loi in the all time top 10 south paws, along with other fighters like Lew Tendler, Pernell Whitaker, and Hagler. I think Hagler was a right handed figher who switched styles. This content is protected
