AFAIK Valuev hasnt gone to cruiserweight, **** talked non stop about the current champs of the division, jumped the queue in a division hes unproven in, and ducked the very fighters he spent ages calling out. Haye is a clown.

My God! He looks almost exactly like my son! So if my kid develops a pituitary problem and grows to be a giant, he would look just like Valuev. Freaky!

But you know, my grandmothers brother suffers from a pituitary problem. Biggest man I've ever met. Stand about 7', and I figure about 300 lbs. His hands are so large, that when I shake them, I cannot get my fingers past his palm. He doesn't have the facial features that Valuev has though. Looks more normal.

On this forum, you'll hear a lot of **** talking about Valuev.

Valuev, in his prime, was a very good HW. He wasn't what you'd expect from a guy 7' tall. He had excellent stamina, which for big guys is rare. He wasn't a big puncher, and had surprisingly decent handspeed for a guy so large. His chin has always held up pretty well although he's been shaken a few times.

Valuev looked his best a few years ago, arguably. When he was beating guys like Beck and Etienne, Valuev looked very good and actually showed some great boxing fundamentals...a long jab, a straight right hand, and on occasion a half-decent hook.

While he has a few arguable victories (I thought he lost against Ruiz once and against Donald but won the rest), he still has shown he can compete at the top level. His fight against Holyfield was admittedly awful, but Valuev had made clear before the fight that he did not want to fight Holyfield so I don't hold that fight as a measuring stick of where he's at.

He has some good victories over contenders in his career, beating Ruiz, Beck, Barrett, Liakjovich, Bergeron, Nobles, Levin, and others. These aren't monumental wins but they are solid, nonetheless.

I think he stands a good shot of beating Haye if he shows up looking like he did a few years back. Haye might find catching Valuev very difficult...I imagine he is going to be tied up a lot when getting in close, and will be stuck out of range much of the fight.

I am fairly sure this fight will go to a UD.

I hope levels him !!I think all of boxing is united with Haye in this fight .
