    :thumbsup:thumbsup thats what I like to hear. Where I live they usually won't show domestic cards in the pub because it leads to too many fights.
    No :blood but I'm intruiged

    I'm more interested in watching on the tv to be honest as I am far from wealthy at the moment so as long as I can follow the local scene i'll be happy.

    What is it like with promoters as in Britain we have a handful of promoters with two of them being fairly dominant of the entire scene.

    Where are you moving from? (Guessing London) - Either way, prepare for disappointment :p

    Nah, the local scene is busy enough, just don't expect much and definitely lacking on the world stage at the moment. We get all the big fights on ppv or in pubs though.

    Unfortunately it's just not the draw card it is in the UK or US (or most other countries :p )

    That said, if you spend the time getting to know the local scene you'll enjoy it!

    Edit: If you're moving to Newcastle you'll get most of the big fights at Wests Leagues Club, Panthers or there's a pub in Cardiff (yep, there's a Cardiff there too, the visiting of which can lead to disollution and a lack of faith in humanity :p) that shows most as well.

    :thumbsup Like I said I'm not too bothered about quality but as long as there are good competitive fights I'll be happy. I'll check them out cheers I'm off tomorrow and buzzing for it now.

    ok, lets imagine the 'sexyboxer' (roid taking, acne scarred toad) fights a decnt level (or even local) heavyweight...

    sexyboxer gets ktfo and hangs over the middle rope with his ass pointing up, and poofs imagine ****ing him...

    thats about as sexy as it gets.

    who's the bum he is fighting next? oooohhhhh, now i get it...bums..he fights bums..you find bums sexy.....:-(

    Alex Leapai and Kali Meehan are our two best local heavyweights by some margin.

    Meehan is perhaps the fading light these days based on age and a surprise recent loss. Leapai, despite the loss to world ranked 'Kingpin' Johnson, is the emerging Australian #1.

    Leapai has imported and beaten a string of strong opposition prior to his loss to Johnson, including Travis Wilson, Owen Beck, Darnell Wilson, Jason Barnett, Peter Okello and Evgeny Orlov.

    :lol::lol: Are you associated with Leapai or just a big fan?
    I heard Leapai had Johnson struggling in the early rounds as well which isn't too shabby. How far do you think he can go?

    He is limited, but hits very hard. So it's hard to tell how far he can go. The good thing is he is testing himself against worthy opposition, and until 'Kingpin' stopped him, had been on a march.

    People much prefer guys like Froch who take on good even fights which are usually the most competitive and exciting than fighters who have great records. Slowly public opinion is changing this way as well people have gotten bored of watching a guy with a ridiculous padded record fighting another no hoper. If he keeps fighting good opposition (I'll take your word on his record as I hardly know any of his opponents) he'll improve a lot more even if his record suffers for it.
