Educating Fools: Lomachenko Did Not Duck Rigondeaux!

Loma vs Rigo was 'apparently' an option, but it's perhaps not to be taken seriously because:

1. Rigondeaux proved he's a time waster - Team Loma are thus completely justified in not listening to him.
When they tried to make the fight before, Rigo agreed to financials, weight, everything before, only to bounce out of the contract and say he wants the fight at 124lbs even though Loma had already told him he can't make 124! Rigo IS that kind of crook that'd do this just to raise his own narcoleptic name.

2. Rigondeaux if serious enough would've had the promoters speak to one another. A fighter who just talks trash on twitter and doesn't take a single step in making the fight is the very definition of a fighter USING ANOTHER'S NAME TO INCREASE THEIR OWN PROFILE. Look, it worked! Fools with agenda all over the internet are saying Loma 'ducked' Rigo and Rigo now has more publicity.

3. Rigondeaux is calling for a fight at 130lbs even though he doesn't weigh that at fight night and he rejected 126lbs.

4. Everyone pointing their finger at Lomachenko fighting Marriaga need to realise that since Agbeko 4 years ago, Rigo has ONLY fought poorly ranked fighters i.e 50th and beyond. Marriaga is a big FW who is coming off a very close war with Oscar Valdez!

Conclusion:
This is all smokes and mirrors. Mr Lomachenko has serious business to attend to in just a month. He needed an opponent, Marriaga was there after Orlando Salido became Fraudlando Duckcheato, Berchelt has a fight and Gervonta (who looks like a stereotypical woman from prison) ducked Lomachenko.

Marriaga is a genuinely good fighter and is better than his resume indicates! Screw anyone who judges Marriaga on the basis of his resume only, boxrec twats.

One good thing has come of it - Top Rank can feel the pressure to match Loma up with the best. So Rigotards SHOULD keep spamming Loma's social media with cherry and chick emoticons.

That's what Rigondeaux did! Excuse Loma for not taking this fool seriously. If he wants to be taken seriously, he must do it the professional way.

 

What you're suggesting is a reaching conspiracy theory. Loma has been matched tough from the start and will be put into 135lbs which he is small for. Someone like Linares can be competitive when it wouldn't have been if Linares was a 126/130lber. People as physically big as Flanagan and Easter Jr are lurking around there.

Bob Arum has proved he wanted Loma near Rigo - he did his bit to feed Rigo to Loma at 126lbs (a weight that favours Rigo more than 130lbs), and allowed for a rehydration clause. Your point is thus void.
Sidenote: Fighting Rigo is a double edged source - nobody will look entertaining against him win or lose. He doesn't have any 'fighting' in his game. Naturally Arum isn't fast to make deals with Rigo. End of note.
Additionally, I've seen Bob Arum BS all of my life but he sounded truthful in his belief that Loma just walks all over Rigo.

There is a straight story - Rigo didn't get in touch with the promoters, he just moaned on twitter which is what every duck artist in this era does to garner interest in their own farcical careers. Egis Klimas called him out for not doing things the professional (and only) way to get things done - have promoters speak to one another - there was no formal word from Rigo to Top Rank. Loma's team think it's all BS anyway from Rigo, they don't respect it after Rigo's BS the last time around AND this time around going on twitter WHILST NOT trying to make the fight the proper way.

I think Arum can potentially prevent future superfights considering his nazi-like purse structure and Loma's team need to be less naive and be more clued on like Canelo is.
