    That phrase "He didn't come to win" is getting older and older as the yrs pass us on by....... I think the challengers that Wlad and Vitali Klit fight DO INDEED come to win, but after tasting some heated leather early on they (Opponents) quickly determine that they cannot beat these brothers, so therefore they go into a shell looking to survive the distance without getting hurt.....

    You can't call him a bum when the American Heavies are all bums ..He's just not that much of a bum !

    You sure about that:think. People were giving Chambers a chance before some changed their minds and called him a bum.

    Chambers has no glass-jaw....... The hell you say? Chambers ate a Big Mac right in round 2 and kept on fighting...... Chambers ate numerous ramrod left jabs without really cutting-up or bleeding; yet his face was raw looking late in the fight.... The hook that KO'd his ass was a shot right on the temple.... Done deal....... No glass-jaw...

    So he has a glass temple:lol:. I agree that Wlad hits hard and being ko'd by him is not proof that Chambers has a "glass jaw". I'll watch this fight and see how many times Wladmir hit him flush.

    Chambers is definitely #3 in the world right now, he's no bum.

    But, this loss was devastating to him. He was fighting for survival to say that he went 12 with Dr. Steel Hammer. He gets TKOed with seconds to go in the bout.

    I'm picking a massive motivation hit. He was already chubby and could possibly do better at cruiserweight. But I'm picking that the psychological effect of being KTFO with seconds remaining will make him eat up and be 20+ pounds heavier at his next weigh in. You heard it here first :smoke

    Chambers is certainly not a bum, even if he was beaten soundly by Wlad. Chambers even with his lack of size pretty much manhandled Dmitrenko soundly outboxing him and beat Sam Peter with one hand(if I recall he injured his hand early in the fight). He's talented; but against a Klit he's far outgunned.

    That's about it really. If you're that undersized against Wlad (who's a very good boxer), you better bring some real power into the ring with you to level the playing field.

    If you don't - and Chambers doesn't - then you've really got no way to win the fight outside of a fluke.

    Chambers is no bum - he just doesn't have any tools at all to beat Wlad (or Vitali) with.

    I do, however, believe that since Chambs made some good bank against W.K. last night, he'll prolly lose interest in training and gain back useless pounds and perform as a heavyweight in lesser fights just to maintain a flow of income for a while longer...... ARGH! BUT! He really ought to stick to training and drop to 200 pounds and fight there..... But he won't........ ARGH!!

    Eddie gave it a great shot with one of the most dominant and probably right now the dominant HW in the world. Bums don't last 12 rounds under that type of assault.

    Boxing fans are fickle like chicks. (No offense to chicks.)
