You're missing the point. A contract is agreed upon between two parties. It isn't a one-way document, certainly not for a multi-million $ deal. A paragraph from Wilder's personal email is insufficient. Do you understand the expression "the devil is in the detail"?

 

In fairness I doubt Deontay could write his name, let alone draft up a contract.
Also if he did send a contract then why does he have like 3 advisors working for him ?

 

C'mon you know full well that fighters do not do this. They leave that to the professionals like managers solicitors etc etc.

 

Contracts from Arum to fight Fury on ESPN, contracts from Hearn to fight Josuha on DAZN. For all the riches they like to say Showtime and Haymon are willing to spend it really dont seem like they are willing to spend it on Wilder. Get the feeling Espinoza knows he wont be able to compete with the other networks and him and Wilders people are really sweating on it. I say they cant compete but im guessing they will do everything in their power to brush off all offers while they attempt to find a way to get the other sides to take one of their contracts but that could take years. The Fury fight was supposed to a huge success and raise Wilder to Joshua level earnings but it failed, and other than Fury and Joshua i dont know who Wilder could face to generate big money. Guna be Breazeale next and not on PPV, Team Wilder have tried to play a game and they have ****ed themselves over big time.

 

The WBO already did but Frank Warren had it declared vacant before it could be presented.
