DeGale is a natural counterpuncher but Sutherland is a much more complete fighter. Your approach to a fight is a mindset. Sutherland boxes and brawls where as DeGale leans more heavily to boxing.

Sutherland should be careful with overshooting the jab and he should have gone to the body more but a methodical performance that gets the stoppage over an opponent. He is the sort of opponent he won't get stop with pitty patter. Sutherland showed how he should be approached.

3 wins, 3 kos. Can't wait to see him next time.

Speed kills. DeGale needs to nurture that talent.

Always gives quality interviews where he doesn't seem like a ****. I like it when he said get behind your fave and lets see what happens. He isn't even trying to take other boxers fans, he is just letting the fans be. Maloney needs to have him out more as he is hungry. Get him the fights and experience quickly.

He may not be trying to take fans, but he made me one tonight. Although I always prefer a style like his as opposed to a style like Degale.

Sutherland and DeGale both have their qualities, and to me, regardless of what people say, they both seem good guys in different ways. There is a difference between pure arrogance and cheeky talk.

People might just have to accept DeGale is not always going to involved in barnburners, and Sutherland may well be. There are many ways to skin a cat :good

Both these look decent operators up to Brit level. Surprising yet refreshing they've been matched.

Sykes tactics are odd to me. Makes for a great fight...but I don't know, he could make it a lot easier.

Sykes is quicker and has the advantage of stance yet he's fighting a war. Crolla has to fight a war, I don't think Sykes does, but Sykes is still winning the battle regardless.
