The promoter Eddie Hearn does an interview while promoting this weekend’s event that is so newsworthy a thread is created to discuss it.

Further proof that he is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers.

The more patronising and the digs that Eddie and the little fat bloke send over the more you know Warren is hitting a nerve

Not on the edge at all. If you know it’s complete horse****.

why does the number of a fight from a year ago put him on edge. Just called it out for being rubbish. Same as calling out fury’s charity donations

Hearn is rattled, his bitterness over the last few months is coming through more and more.
Benn will have less viewers than the boxxer series on Sky Saturday night.

Yes, according to Eddie Hearn, Conor Benn is "a global super star". He is one of the boxers who pulls the biggest ratings worldwide. If that's true, then we all have to admit that Eddie Hearn is a good salesman.

Earn is an elite salesman mate - he can sell anything.

He has the gift of a posh voice that gives credibility to his words and there are many people out there who believe anything he says.

I don't read too much into these things, he has a point about the last Ava fight as well. Who commissioned that on BT Sport, why did Warren rent Wembley Arena for a fight that would obviously not sell?

Hearn (s) will be fine, they never spend more than they make, they have other businesses etc. That being said, I thin this is the worse situation I have seen Hearn in. He marginalised on an app that no one subscribes to, he relies on getting his face everywhere and without Sky (the key to getting him in front on his target audience) he can't do that. His stable is wafer thin and the US venture looks to have been a disaster from the outside in. No promoter likes him or will work with him and he can't attract fighters because he has no one to put them in against. Plus it appears that what he was promised from DAZN has been watered down in terms of budget.

why is everyone so butt hurt on what Eddie Hearn says?

Im not his biggest fan, but what do you want him to say.

Dillian whyte is a stocking and more than likely wont land a punch of note against Fury, Conor Benn is a talented fighter, but his name is worth so much to Matchroom that he's deliberately feeding tomato cans so they can make more money, or that Ebbanie Bridges has great ratings, because she has a great pair of tits and a tight arse, but in honesty her boxing skills are nothing to write home about?

He's a ****ing promoter ffs, thats his job
