For the fellow classic faithful who appreciate such things and anyone out there tuned into this frequency.... ;)

There's a lot of footage of the latter career of Edwin Rosario floating around on the Tubes... His losses actually seem to be by far the most digested of his bouts among modern fans. But how about Chapo when he was a 19 and 20 year old destroyer & drawing comparisons to the great "Bazooka" Gomez? I gotcha!

Keep the faith, fellow fans and true believers.

No problem at all. Did you follow Rosario on his initial way up the ranks? See any of these bouts before?

I vaguely remember a few of his early bouts. One announcer called him a phenom I remember. I would have liked to c where Edwin wound up had he been clean his whole career. Phenomenal talent

That destruction of the granite chin Bramble is one of his best performances. I thought he was on his way to ATG status. But he just fell short of that.

Those Rosario opponents in the fights you are linking were very weak opponents, other than Rufugio Rojas.

It's easy to call a guy "The next X" before he has fought anyone.

That said, prime Rosario was awesome against Viruet, Elizondo, Camacho and Bramble. He was mediocre against Ramirez, Davis and Juan Nazario. He was okay against Frankie Randall.

He was simply a Hot and Cold fighter.

BTW: Most of Gomez's competition at 122 lbs. were not great, either.

He was hyped a bit too much and then was crushed by Salvador Sanchez, who was as underrated as Gomez was overrated.
