I'd take Rosario without much thought. Haugen may see the final bell based on his toughness or be knocked out.

I always wanted to see this bout, thinking as tough as Haugen was with his rep as this iron-chinned alley cat who used to manhandle sailors in the saloon, I figured "Chapo" would set the record straight - one way or another.

Haugen doesn't have the punch to hurt Rosario.

And, Rosario is the better fighter,

    Rosario by TKO in 10.

Haugen was a pretty cagey fighter and tough guy,but Rosario is also one of the best punchers of the last 30 years, I think Rosario knocks him out 9 rounds but Haugen is probably only slightly behind at the time of stoppage.

Haugen's chin is always there. Rosario before the 5th.

I can't see Haugen lasting that long. He didn't have the power to hurt Rosario, nor the strength to get in his chest and stay there, which is how you beat a guy like that.

    Rosario TKO 2 or 3.

Rosario late tko. Haugen was known for his toughness, but he didn't last anywhere near as long as Chapo did against Chavez. That, added with the firepower that Edwin brings to the table, means Greg gets pummeled.

I'm going to pick Haugen. At his best, he was very cagey and a bit of a cutie who could figure out Rosario's pretty basic game. In his prime he had the goods to beat Jimmy Paul, Pazienza and Camacho. I don't see Rosario as being out of the question.

Interesting thoughts, but the one thing that Rosario possessed that these guys didn't was one-punch fight-ending power. Paul had good power in his right, but was so drawn and worn out from previous extended efforts that he didn't get much of a chance to land it. Paz and Camacho hit him, but didn't have the kick in their shots to do much.
