Camacho was robbed in first fight against Haugen, he won at least 1 more round and scored a knockdown , so even with point deduction, he should win it, still. Haugen didnt last long against Chavez who's a power puncher , against Rosario that fought Camacho, he would get KO in later round. But Rosario isnt without flaw either, he traded punches with Ramirez and was stopped. I'd still pick Rosario though. Most likely like how Haugen gets beaten by Chavez but lasted longer against Rosario.
Haugen figured out Camacho, frustrated and exposed him. Better ring IQ, higher functional boxing skills.
He beat him twice in my book, better the second time around. Camacho was walking back to the dressing room after the second fight knowing he had been beat but had to be called back into the ring for his gift. Haugen truly made Camacho his b*tch.
Well I thought Rosario beat Camacho and that was a much better version of Camacho. As for the result of this match, Haugen get's a fearful beating and is stopped mid-late rounds.
I think that many of you are judging Haugen by that dismal performance vs Chavez....and he seems saddled with that "Alaska Tough Man" image. I think that there's a chance for Haugen, as he was a deceptively clever boxer with good ring smarts...as shown vs Jimmy Paul and in that rematch with Pazienza. I have to agree with @Seamus here regarding Haugen's basic shiftiness and underrated skills.
Rosario by stoppage. For me the styles match up noticably in his favor tho i do consider Haugen a very good fighter. Rosario hit as hard or harder than any 135 ever for mine.
