Laguna would use his superior jab and movement to dictate the pace of this fight. Rosario would have trouble with the pace Laguna could set. I think Rosario would need a stoppage here and Laguna was never stopped in 75 fights. I'd say Laguna by clear decision.
Rosario has a puncher's chance but Laguna more often than not would just be too slick for him and outpoint him comfortably.
I hate to go against the grain, but I think Rosario has a better shot than others here. He was a fast fighter himself, and he showed against Camacho and a young Randall that he could match a fast fighter's speed/skill. And off the top of my head, I can't really remember Rosario being decisively outboxed by anyone; usually he lost to big punchers who tested his chin/will. I see this as being a very close, competitive fight, with Laguna winning some rounds with his boxing and workrate, but Rosario winning others with his fast and hard puncher.
I think the Howard Davis fight kind of tells badly for Rosario here. I thought Rosario won the fight but he was run awfully close by Howard, who is not in Laguna's class. The Camacho fight is a good counter argument, (had Rosario winning there as well) but it's safe to say he won't be facing a fighter with zero heart in Ismael.
Buchannan would beat Rosario for me definitely, he can mix it up better than Laguna and may have an extra gear too many for Rosario. I think the Laguna-Rosario one is tougher though, i favour Laguna slightly but i really think Rosario has a good chance with his strength and style, but i think Laguna's chin means he makes it through and counters enough/jabs enough to get a hard fought one.
Laguna would trounce him. Camacho had next to no headmovement and nowhere near the depth or finesse to his style that fighters like Laguna and Buchanan did.He was just fast.
If Edwin had developed like he was on track to, I would say he pulls this one out by split decision.but being that he fell in love with his power, I'll say Laguna takes a close UD over 15, with Edwin withering down the stretch, and Ismeal taking advantage.
