Whilst i don't ever think Valero can be a p4p type fighter, perhaps he can be a legitimate top guy, given time to improve. I think what you can't count out with a guy like this, are his intangibles.

exactly why I like to watch guys like this. No one pays attention to the intangibles to be honest, they are what make boxing great though.

I don't think Gamboa would startch him personally. Pretty unlikely. Outbox him yet, stop him in the later rounds perhaps... But to totally startch him is very unlikely to happen. Valero is a better and stronger fighter than Jiminez, and Gamboa has shown already he doesn't fight as well when backed up. I would pick Gamboa on what i have seen of both, but i think it would be more competitive than some here would have you believe.
