Edwin Valero arrested (again) for beating his wife?

Yeah, I said aside from special cases. You know, now that I think about it, we might be in the wrong here. Maybe his wife, his sister and his mother are all possessed by demons and he's just trying to beat the evil out of them. I mean, I guess it would be quite a coincidence if they've all been possessed but when judging a man for such things, you should give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe.

LaMotta and Robinson were really, really disgusting and brutal too. That ****** LaMotta thought he killed his girlfriend in a drunken rage, and got really concerned that it'd ruin his boxing career. His brother suggested dumping her in a lake.

Ray's son believes that Edna Mae's five miscarriages were a result of Ray's abuse.

I forgot all about that jolly little LaMotta anecdote. I wonder how many people watched the movie and thought he was a piece of ****. Because, oh, what the movie didn't use from the autobiography. I'm not sure I ever heard the part about the miscarriage's with Ray's wife but if I did, I clearly got selective memory over it. Which I hate to say, I probably do on several biographical details on fighters I liked.

 

The movie made LaMotta look like a Saint compared to his autobiography.

I really enjoy watching Valero fight but that doesn't change the fact that beating up women makes you a scumbag.

Looks like we can add his name to this shameful list of boxers who don't know how to behave outside of the ring.

 

Calm down on this alleged ****. First, boxers are pre-disposed to doing this sort of ****. Yeah, I said it, people just don't want to admit it. We all like the sport, but don't want to admit that violence doesn't stay in the ring. I've known many boxers and they all beat their women. Secondly, the mom/sis case didn't even make it to court, so we're prematurely judging that ****. Could have been some low-grade newspaper reporter trying to capitalize on the only celebrity in town. And lastly, in the Hispanic community, if the mom/sis/wife don't bring out that godamn chow hot and on-time, then they deserve a little 'rudder steer'. That **** was alright in the 60s and 70s, and now all of a sudden it's wrong. We are becoming a ***** society, slowly but surely.

 

She should have listened the first time

 

Why stop there? Have a disagreement with a neighbor - get a bat and club him to death/maim him. That's how cavemen do it. It was fine then why not now? :huh
