Edwin Valero: Career Over?

It was only a matter of time before he would do this. From the way he looks, it's drunk *******, wife-beater written all over him.

 

If reports are true...obviously he doesn't get enough satisfaction from beating up guys in the ring. Throw the ****er in jail if it's true...no-one should get away with beating a woman, especially his wife. atsch

Beating random women is at least understandable. But your own wife?? Unforgivable.

Not quite the point I was trying to make ...you shouldn't hit women full stop, but theres even more reason to not hit your wife, like you said...unforgivable.

I'm a fan... but he deserves what-ever misfortune he gets from here on in if he really did beat his sweet looking little wife like that.

He vacated his title, was going to move to 140. But he deserves a substantial jail term if the report is true. Sick ****er.

I am a great admirer of him as a fighter but I've never been a fan of him as a person. He has always carried himself as arrogant and his life has been riddled with violence and brutality since early adolescence as a thug and mugger in Venezuela, stealing from college students and getting kicked out of the army for fighting and disciplinary issues.



The guy pretty much literally lived in a boxing gym (he literally slept in the gym) and spent his day between the gym and the streets of Venezuelan slums. He was pretty much exposed to violence in one shape or other for 24 hours a day.



While disgraceful and cowardly, I am not in the least surprised that he would strike his wife. If you read what his personal opinions are of boxing and what he himself says goes through his mind when he fights. . .100% pure sado-masochistic psycho.


I've always thought he was mentally unstable and this latest incident, combined with the earlier incident involving his mom and sister, the illegal firearm possession and the DUI, add more evidence that this individual has very deep-seated emotional problems.
