he has an impressive record of 22-0(22) with 19 of his knockouts coming in the first round.... is he the real deal or another well matched fighter with an impressive record who will be exposed against the first top-class opponent he faces??
i was lucky enough to see this guy in the gym a few yrs ago when he was in l.a. i watched him spar some pretty good fighters and i thought he'd be a champion based on what i saw. what u r seeing now is not his best. he has diminished in his skills. hopefully he can get back with the ppl that had him looking like a million bucks. he's much better than he is showing now.
Fake! :yep He has power alright but that's all he have. His best fight is when he took that title from Mosquera, where Mosquera knock him down once. He'll suffer his first loss as soon as he fight a good opponent. Soto and Guzman will starch this guy.
needs to get hooked up with a top trainer while he's still young he will never be more than a B+ fighter. Valero makes me think of a less accomplished Kelly Pavlik
questionable chin... i doubt of it holds when someone with a lil bit of power hits him. He went down againts mosquera and it wasn't even flash.
He's for real. This guy has crazy work ethic and crazy power. If it wasnt for his brain injury he would have been huge by now. The only people that can compete with him are the elite.
thats all he has... the guy doesn't have the skill, speed and defense to beat the elites. i'd like to see him fight guys like juarez or barrios first...
