Do you really think Arum is the type of promter to advise one of his money makers to take time away from the sport and get help? especially when you consider Margarito is in the shitter, Floyd left him and all he has is Pacquiao and Cotto pretty much....

Glad your not seeing my view as an excuse what I can say is that yes the actions are his fault and god will and likely already has handed down his punishment, however he is also mentally ill, something we should take into consideration as well, not saying to give him a pass but as people we should try to have a better understanding for these kinds of things becuase there are thousands of people just like Edwin who are living their lives having to deal with this kind of ****...

It's really a sad and disturbing situation. Terrible waste and a real shame that he couldn't find a better solution for his problems.:verysad

Doug Fisher, formerly of Maxboxing, is partially to blame as he always talked up Valero as if he were something special. It was that arrogance that led Valero to believe he could get away with anything, including beating his wife and eventually murdering her.

Doug Fisher-accomplice to murder, enough said.:twisted:

The thing is, people who are mentally ill aren't always capable of seeing that they need help themselves. Valero might have seen it like a sign of weakness. Being involved in a sport which has a lot of pride involved, admitting that there is something wrong with you is pretty tough to do

I am truly disgusted. One of my favourite fighters has done such an evil thing. What a waste for boxing. I am saddened that we will never see him fight the guys. What a waste for boxing, good riddence Valero you piece of ****.

I am eye for an eye. If you take life you have your life taken. Whether its by your own hand or by firing squad makes no difference to me.
