    Damn, and I was hoping for the murders of Forrest and Gatti to be the last string of tragedy for Boxing. Wow. This is just bananas. I'm not sure how anyone can limit the tragedies that occur in the sport. A lot of fighters come from a troubled and/or harsh background. It's part of what makes them fighters but at the same time can be the element that destroys them.

    They knew he was crazy. Did they give him a lawyer or even a psychiatrist to help him? They should kept an eye on him 24 hours a day to make sure he didn't do anything stupid. Valero had President Chavez tattooed on his chest. Maybe the President didn't want any negative publicity from this fallout.

    As sad and shocking as this is nothing is as bad as benoit killing his kid by using his 'cross face' finishing move. That was really messed up.
