Although he lacks the speed that Pacquiao has, Valero is probably still the best sparring partner for Hatton in this fight.

Valero is not fast enough, and he bangs hard in sparring. At least he's a lefty

 

just based on the fact that Valero is a jr. lightweight, he will be faster than most jrWWs. Its a good move by the Hatton camp.

Arum would even pay Valero to spar with the Hitman. Not that he needs spying though. Arum and Roach would probably laughing if this really happens.

Also there's too much hype on Valero, yes he got speed and power and a lefty. But it still doesn't emulate the Pacquiao today, maybe the Pac before.

I don't take anything from Valero but, He can't emulate Pac. The sparring would probably be like a real fight.

I just don't wanna hear some stuffs like "oh Valero already soften Hitman, oh Valero gave Hitman a black eye, oh this and that".

 

valero recently moved to top rank. i therefore don't think arum will allow valero to be a sparring partner to hatton. or arum could as valero can maybe spy for them. hatton will have to get another sparring partner under GBP. perhaps victor ortiz will make a good one.

Valero fights nothing like Pac. He's got a heavy left hand and good speed but there's not much else that can be compared between the two. That however might be just enough to lay Hatton out in sparring. :yep

Agree. Hatton has many things to solve for the stylistic and speeding Pac not one can valero provide.

Hes trainer should concentrate on his defense instead.
