To answer your ? tho, I think Edwin would have been in the middle of everything 135lbs thru 147.
(Maybe Maidana's size might/could have been to much tho??)

Maidana is fun to watch, But Valero was special, IMO.

I don't think Ed is resting "in peace" with where he's at but I got Edwin winning in a barn burner! The extra size and weight Marcos has would make it more competitive given Valero is smaller.

 

Maidana would spark him.

 

He gets connected on more than he connects. A punching bag would be meat for Venezuela.

 

I'm not one of those guys who thinks Valero beats everyone just because he died undefeated with all KO wins, but I think Valero would have stopped Maidana.

Valero would win I like Maidana but he's crude wide with his punches and has stamina problems, he's quick on his feet and has power though but I'd still bet against him in that one regardless of weight.
