:rofl Maybe in 4 yrs or so.....Right now Gam needs to fight his PRO game...Darling did far too well against GAMBOA to throw him in to the lions den against Ed. I'd actually like to see the potential Gamboa clearly has and matching him against Valero right now is career suicide.
Vincente is not a "B" level fighter...he is definitly an "A" level fighter and Ed pretty much dominated the entire fight aside from round 1. That was very impressive given the stage he was at in his career at the time and how early it was. Ed is a champion for a reason and his Hype may be a bit overboard but on the same token his "HATERS" are also a bit overboard with their assesments. To say he's only slightly better than Ponce is laughable. Having a ATG like MAB endorsing and co-signing his potential should mean a bit more when talking about Edwin.
Darling TKO Valero easily. Vincente is a C level fighter. Barrera was just being nice. Valero is a C+ level fighter, maybe B- at best.
Go watch some more boxing before you embarass yourself even more. "Mosquera is definitly an "A" level fighter"..
Yea....MAB was just being "NICE"....He says that kind of about all his sparing partners....:rofl You clown.
Mosquera isn't an ELITE level fighter like PAC or JMM...but he is a A class fighter son. You think grabing the WBA title and defending it is something a C class fighter can do? :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl Take your own advice man and stop doing this to yourself. You need to brush up on the sweet science before you start talking about things you clearly don't know about.
Valero can keep fighting bums in Japan and landing cheap shots, but once he fights tougher competition, he'll get KTFO.. Best fight for him right now is Soto or Barrios, which I can possibly see him losing to..
I think we're splitting hairs between the two, but I think Valero at least has speed and tenacity on his side, whereas Ponce has only power. Awful technique from the two of them, but Valero's tenacity and speed edge would give more opponents trouble I think.
Valero is better than Jiminez. Just because Gamboa fought him doesn't mean you need to over rate him to the hilt now. Some of your posts here are good, and others are just so ridiculous it isn't funny. Darling TKO Valero easy for instance. Vincente as a C level figher as well. You exaggerate all the time, and its annoying. Vincente isn't an A level fighter... But he certainly isn't C level. I see a lot of people in this thread who are basically losing the plot fast.
Watch both of the fighters and decide for yourself. Jiminez's offensive and defensive skill is at least 2-3 levels above Valero's, his accuracy/timing is better, his chin is better, and he deals with pressure better. His main problem is that his stamina is average at best and that's the only reason why he's had losses before the Gamboa one (he actually parties too much instead of training, so his conditioning isn't very good). He would be able to easily outbox Valero, counter his sloppy work, and confuse him. I also believe he would be able to hurt Valero badly and stop him in the early-mid rounds. Valero is not ready for someone with Jiminez's combination of skill, style, power, and chin. I'm not being biased at all and it has nothing to do with Gamboa hype. Instead of jumping on me, watch the fighters objectively and you'll find out this is true. BTW, Mosquera is clearly a C level fighter.. just like Valero is clearly worse than Jiminez. A title and a bunch of KO wins over hand picked opponents mean nothing when analyzing fighters. Jiminez would beat everyone Valero beat (but he wouldn't have struggled with Mosquera as much) and he would have stopped almost all of them too.
