    Valero will fight Hector Velasquez, a former Pacquiao oppnent who got KOed in the 6th round.

    Anybody want to join me in the Valero bandwagon???

    I have heard of a past it prime fighter becoming a gatekeeper, but I am amazed at prime person making a career as a gatekeeper.

    old news...he'll knock him out much quicker than Pacquiao did then he and Antonio Demarco have to set up a fight.

    The fight is on December 19, 2009, not exactly an old news. I thought he was going to take on better opponents soon, after being allowed to fight in Texas. Did his shenanigan derailed his future (punching the wife or something?)

    Well, I have already posted on this. Try to keep up. That incident never happened. He got a DUI in Las Vegas. That is why he did not get his visa renewed.

    They have to fight next because Demarco is interim champ, and the WBC has instructed them to come to terms for the fight. So probably will be early part of next year.

    Valero has stated that he wants Soto or DeMarco next. I have to admit that Velasquez is a major step back compared with Pitalua or even Mosquera.

    The mere fact that it was contemplated, planned, penciled, negotiated baffles, astound, mystify, astonish, confuse me a lot.

    If he never had those problems, then we would be having that fight.

    Actually, it did happen.

    Hector Velazquez won over Pacquiao via disqualification.

    He got lowblowed by Bobby BlowBlow Pacquiao.
