Valero was limited and overated. KO'ing bums is great and all but his level of opposition for a longtime champ was a joke. Broner would be by far the best fighter he ever fought. Right now you'd have to give the edge to Valero but I wouldn't be shocked if Broner outboxed him and in a few years time when Broners in his prime he might be a whole different kinda beast so this is a little early to be throwing him in fanatasy match ups since we can't really gauge his chin/power vs an elite opponent yet.
wrong!! I actually gave the edge to Valero at this point in time in Broners career.....reading comprehension sluggo. It's all in my last post, nowhere did I give it to Broner. But it's not a sure thing for Valero as Broner would be the best fighter he's ever faced and easily the best pure boxer he's faced which is what is needed to beat Valero. But as mentioned it's a little too early to throw broner into these fantasy match ups seeing as we have no idea how his chin holds up vs champion level fighters with a big punch, and we have no way to gauge his power and effectiveness vs elite opposition until he fights them deal
That would be a very good match-up.. Too bad it won't happen anymore.. :verysad If Ponce de Leon can give Broner some problems, maybe Valero would be too much for Broner.. But I'd still give Broner a decent chance of making it to a decision, but losing it.. :smoke It all depends on the preparation, Broner will use Pac as his sparring partner and Valero will use Floyd for his preparation.. This might be close..
