I would be enthused if Edwin could have gotten a better opponent but that is proving difficult. It will be entertaining while it lasts. :rasta
If Toledo can hit/hurt/get Prescott on the backfoot, Valero can stop him. Don't think A) Valero's chin is very good B) Prescott hits as hard as some think, so I'll go for Valero, via PTS or very late stoppage. One thing's for sure, it's an intriguing matchup and another good one to look forward too. I guess Valero won't be fighting Soto now though, which is a shame.
Soto was the one other opponent I thought Arum might be able to get. Hopefully next fight. Why do you think Valero's chin is not very good? He went down once which was partly a punch and partly Loco and him having their arms entangled and Loco swinging him into the ropes. It's not like he was hurt. :rasta
WTF?!! KTFO of Khan now automatically makes Prescott a step up for Valero now? his got a punchers chance but Valero should flatten him.
I picked Valero but it's so early and I'm sure I'll watch old footage of both fighters and might waver a bit as the fight gets closer. Cheers to Valero for taking this fight.
Prescott is overrated because of stopping china chinned Khan. He has only looked decent at best in other fights. Valero by destruction. It won't last long. When Valero gets hit, the only thing that happens is it makes him want to hit his opponent harder! This is the best fighter Arum can get to fight him at the moment unfortunately but as long as Edwin keeps winning other top fighters will have to face him eventually. :rasta
True, Valero is long overdue for another first round KO victim to add to his resume. That would make Khan look even more overrated than he already is if that is possible.
I don't think Prescott is overrated. Hell I don't think he's rated highly at all. He's beloved though for stopping Khan and hence we'd like to see him do well because of it.
