Mosquera hit him with good shots early but like I said he did not ever seem hurt but it's hard to say for sure.

Right....the KD was an accumulation where Valero was off balance, but in the 2nd round Valero is hit with a short left hook that wobbles him.

Mosquera isn't a big hitter, but that's the only time I've seen Valero stunned, which was worse than when he was actually knocked down.

If beats Soto I will be a true believer, but Soto will definitely test his chin, moreso than Prescott, who couldn't spark Toledo (whom Soto annihilated)

Khan said he wanted the rematch but now I have not heard him even mention Prescott's name for awhile, especially since he's getting that title shot against Kotelnik. I say Warren probably hopes someone else beats Prescott so Khan does not have to risk getting KTFO by him again but he should try to avenge it!

Yeah I think Prescott's power has been overrated because of the Khan fight. He didn't look so great in the fight before and after that. I think a lot of his KO's were in his backyard so the high KO ratio of Prescott is misleading. Not that I think he is terrible because I see some potential there but I think it's crazy if he were to fight Valero this soon.

I would say so, but there will be no Juan Diaz fight for quite awhile since Diaz just got stopped last fight. GBP said that fight is not happening! lol Maybe if Juan can get back on track with a few fights it might happen after that. He did fight very well even though he lost.

All he's ever shown is devastating KO ability. Fact is no one knows how he'll cope against a master CP. In fact, no one even knows how he'll cope against a great boxer.

But saying he wont get credit for beating Prescott or Soto is ridiculous

Maybe for Soto but I guarantee Prescott will be considered a hype job more than he already is so I don't know about that one. Valero's timing is actually extremely good. I think you'll be surprised how he does with an excellent counter-puncher when the time comes.

At first I thought Valero. But, Valero ain't much of a boxer, so I like Prescott now.

Valero clearly has more talent than prescott but at this stage of their careers the fight is pretty eventually matched. In other words i dont think prescott will be a world beater but valero could be, however prescott is far more convential than valero, and valero does get hit. Breidis may outpoint him.

I REALLY want to see Valero-Antillon. That would be a better fight than just about anything else proposed. That would have FOTY potential.
