I disagree and I would give Valero a lot of credit if he blows Soto out.

You think he'd really get much credit for it in general though?:think

Mosquera a feather fisted fighter nockdown Valero and have him hurt several times during the fight so I say Soto win this by humillating KO.

LOL @ 4 people voting for a draw. How the heck would that be possible, or even a decision if this one goes down?

I won't even try an argue with you. You should at least watch the fight first before commenting on it!

Mosquera took a beating that might have killed some fighters. Loco went to prison for his involvement in a murder soon after. Probably had a few screws knocked loose.

I love when people use the "triangle" method. By you're logic, Pitalua should have destroyed Valero. You did see what he just did to Reyes, right?

Soto has never been stopped and I can't really recall him getting floored and hurt at lower weights. He's widely considered to have one of the best chins below 135 so it would definitely be a big accomplishment to ice him in a few rounds.

I doubt anyone will welcome Valero to the elite ranks for defeating Soto but he will at least validate his offensive skills to the naysayers that think he can't destroy a B+/A- type opponents. Soto's deficiencies are well known and Valero should be able to take advantage of them if he wants to prove his worth as Guzman schooled Humberto pretty badly.

Valero's best shot was sparking JMM but marquez went for the money against PBF so he's **** out of luck taking the short route to fame. He'll just have to put in the work and keep blowing out better opponents to get the big money fights he so desperately wants.

Not nearly as amusing as when you where "as certain about it as anything" when you said Taylor would UD Froch then changed your thread title.

Come to think of it you did and have been doing the EXACT same things you described on this post when concerning Froch.

    Fail...

Not really, considering that's the only time I've been off like that. It wasn't like Froch dominated the whole fight either.

I wouldn't expect anything less from a childish poster like you.

Furthermore, does one bad pick discredit the fact I picked you're boy Pac to destroy his last two opponents? Picking Mosley and Hopkins to win their last fights, even though the majority was quite convinced otherwise? I can't imagine being perfect, or being delusional enough to think I could be. Maybe you have these opinions, as you act as if you're NEVER wrong.

You shouldn't bother with pointless banter like you just posted.

Jeff M, Soto is by a huge margin the best opponent of Valero's young career. When you consider this man is a 2 weight world champion, something is terribly wrong with today's Boxing climate. You should have to fight someone worthy in order to become a champion let alone a multi-weight world champion. It's a joke.

I would have to give Valero the edge in this bout. Anyone with a lackluster defense coming forward against Edwin is going to get hit, and that guy seems to be a very hard hitter indeed. Likewise, Soto was badly outclassed by his toughest opposition to date, Juan Guzman, and has been feasting on average fighters since the defeat.

It would be fun whilst it lasts, but if Valero is worth his salt, he should win the fight. Bad match-up for Soto.

Nothing childish about it. What's childish is how you changed the thread title to save face.

Like I said everything you said applies 100% to you too. Keep spinning things as much as you want.
