You have not made a point, and I imagine cannot. I don't really care either way.

Valero was involved in motorcycle accident in 2001 he sustained a nasty head injury I read they placed a metal plate in the skull I'm not sure if it was temporary I know the city of New York denied his license after failing a MRI in 2004 read the all article.

This is a very good fight. A true test for Valero, if he wins it would be further proof that he is indeed the real deal. Soto is as tough as they come. He may have difficulties with cute boxers but you have to be someone tough with a really big punch if you intend on knocking him out. I see him as a better but slightly smaller version of Urbano Antillon, nothing fancy just some nice slugging action and with the way Valero fights somebody is going down, probably both of them.

    Hope this comes to fruition.

Soto would be the toughest fight for Valero so far. Bar none.

People are using the Guzman fight to think he would be an easy pick for Valero. But we have to know Guzman's style was all wrong for Soto, and Valero does not have any of that kind of style. He is a brawling maniac with dangerous powers both in his fast hands, but he has not shown any fundamental boxing skills in all of his previous fights, and I don't expect him to suddenly show any of that against Soto, or anyone who can actually box and jab, and won't be intimidated by his reputation.

I see Soto controlling the tempo with his jab, and if ever there will be exchanges, which would be frequent I think Soto would win the exchanges; he is just more accurate and controlled with his combination and punches. Valero is not Guzman, and he would eat hard leathers regularly there, and so is Soto, but I think Soto can actually show good defense against the wild offensive attack of Valero.

It will be an exciting, hard-fought match, but I don't expect it to last 12 rounds. In the end, I am going with the more experienced, more proven, more technically sound boxer/puncher against an aggressive KO puncher.

If Valero wins here, I would give him full credit, and would probably favor him over most of the guys at 135 then.

looks like a great fight on paper. soto, i feel, should make the transition 5 pounds up with little problem. if valero managed to KO him as he has done so with past opponents, then all my reservations about him as a fighter go out the window. this would be a massive win on his ledger.

Soto will outclass Valero for 3 rounds, at which point one of Valero's power punches will catch Soto and put him to sleep.

I think the only important question is whether Soto can take Valero's power or not. Soto is not hard to hit at all so if he gets hurt on the first flush shot it'll be over in a jiffy for him. However, if he can eat Valero's shots like they were nothing then Valero had better develop some defensive skills like he has shown in his sparring sessions or it could be a very rough night for him as well.

Basically if Soto can't handle his power then no one else at 135 will have much chance against him beyond the slicksters like Guzman and Linares.
