I'm serious about my prediction and will be here to admit I'm wrong if Valero wins. I'm giving my prediction based on styles and I know Casamayor is past it.

A past it Casamayor is BY FAR the biggest step up for Valero. :deal

mi casa es tu casa by KO.

many of you are picking the unorthodox & unproven hype job soley based of the fact that casa is old & shot... but his experience and heart is unquestionable. casa blanca baby!

No. He's faded but nothing like a corpse, he was more than competitive with Marquez for long periods of that fight.

Casa has definetely got enough left in the tank to win this.

I think Casa gave his last great effort v. JMM, now it's time for him to get eaten by a young lion. It's just the way the game goes.

I think people are underestimating Valero, I see some serious star power in that dude. He is a vicious mofo with power to burn.

Why isn't he fighting Prescott? That would be an interesting fight.

Given that Valero has a huge lead in the poll, I don't think people are underestimating him. I do think that power alone isn't enough to beat experienced champs like Casamayor. Valero's skills are just not up to the required standard, he leaves himself wide open, all the time. Any skilled technical fighter like Casamayor will exploit that and make him pay.

    Is this already confirmed?

Anyway, a shot Casa will still prove to be a tough nut to crack for a crude Valero. Valero will be countered silly, right and left, for most of the time, and those times he won't get countered, is because his face will be plastered with jabs. :yep

Casa UD. And if Valero tries to bully him, Casa by TKO.:deal

That's all to end the Valero hype.

Casa maybe even by TKO. I have seen Valero 3 times in fights long enough to make a judgement and i haven't really been impressed.

What if Valero KOes Casa sooner than JMM did?

Then it's time for Cepillo to kick back, gaze fondly upon his legacy and light up a Cuban. And not in the Mayorga "this is how I roll", still-active way.
