Edwin Valero vs Juan Diaz

tough one to call

 

If Diaz can take the occasional bombs that Valero would hit him with then Diaz would pressure him all night and perhaps get a TKO or MAYBE a stoppage like what happened with Acelino Freitas who is also a murderous puncher.

If Valero's power is too much? I think you guys already know the result.

This is mostly due to Juan Diaz's featherfisted punches. I can see Diaz landing 4-5 shots on Valero for everyone one of Valero's landed shots, but I would rather take 5 shots from Diaz than 1 shot from Valero.

 

Who has Valero fought? I pick the more proven and bigger Juan Diaz. Valero is being overrated around here.

 

hmm says... tough one... two crazies.... but I'm gonna lean a little closer to Diaz cause he's proven. Gotta remember Valero never faced an opponent like Diaz so he might come in for a surprise.

 

If Diaz gets cut its game over.

 

Valero sparks him out in 2 or 3.....i think its going to have to take a counter puncher to beat valero, something diaz is not....he is a fat kid that gases out....i got malginaggi beating him.

his stamina is crap, he throws way too many punches and by round 7 his energy level is bad.....if he had power with his style, he could be a real force.

 

Diaz has NO stamina issues. Most of his fights he either punches people so much that they get overwhelmed and quit or he gets a UD.

This all depends on how Diaz's chin holds out against Valero's vaunted power but if he can handle Valero's shots then it will be a very long night for the young man from Venezuela.

 

Its tough I think Valero....but my heart says Diaz...either way I think it would be a great fight.

 

Man, I absolutely love Juan Diaz style. I wish he had a little more pop with his exciting intensity. Valero should get the job done.

 

This is the kind of fight Valero should be pursuing and winning if he wants any real credibility.
