Valero has awful defence and seems to back up under pressure. Pacman will put the pressure on and force valero to fight Backwards (which he can't do) and negate his power. His constant wide punches will allow Pacquiao's faster, straighter shots to find the mark constantly.

Pacquiao stops him early.

Of course it's possible, but very unlikely. Pacquiao has a good chin and his handspeed will allow him to constantly beat Valero to the punch.

 

Its not like PAc was not stopped before and Valero seems to be exceptional puncher.

 

valero may be having an interesting power, but hes too slow in his feet and in throwing his bombs. that wont work against somebody whose main asset were speed and brutal power.

 

pac hasn't been stopped in almost 10 years. both ko's were from body shots. hasn't been knocked down in 5 years.


valero looks like an exceptional because he has never fought anyone special. his best opposition is vicente mosquera whom he finished in teo rounds but not before being sent to the canvass himself in round 3. mosquera only has a ko ratio of 50% and he managed to floor valero.

 

Yes Pacquiao was stopped many years ago (in dubious circumstances) by body shots, however he has proven to have a solid chin ever since. I've already explained why I think Pac wins, If you disagree give me your thoughts on how the fight would go.

 

I think this fight makes no sense right now and possibly will never happen. PAc have much bigger fish to fry at 135, not mention possibility of fighting Hatton or even DLH. So if ever Valero-PAC will not happen until 2010.
