Edwin Valero and Michael Katsidis are two fighters wanting some more recognition in the sport. Both are good 135 lb. fighters. Edwin is undefeated and packs a punch. Michael is also a strong fighter. The fight would be a slugfest, but only one can win. Who wins? Please vote :patsch

I can't explain why, but I think Edwin smokes Katsidis real fast. It would look like a sloppier Pac-Hatton. KO withing 4 rounds by Valero.

well by the way casa was knocking him im guessing Valero hits harder sorry to say but unless Katsidis was caught cold or his chin is better he more then likely gets Ko'd. but he has power to so who knows Mosqera put him down im sure Katsidis hits harder. it'll let us know how Valero's chin is

    Valero by ko.

And if the over/under was set at 2, I'd take the under.

I like Katsidis a lot but he gets hit with EVERYTHING. Valero's got too much power.

Valero, despite his swarming ways, will be all over Katsidis and knock him out cold in the earlier rounds

    why?

valero may have ko power but he has never been pressured like katsidis would and would never have fought a fighter with as much guts as kats. so his usual domination of the mental strength may get dented quickly if he doesn't get things his own way.

and valeros opponents (besides pitalua) have had ordinary ko percentages from their victories.

so although valero is immensly talented i think fighting katsidis is much tougher than what he is used to.

i think he is the next star of boxing and reminds me of darchinyan with his arrogant demeanor. it should make him get publicity rather easily.

Katsidis has heavy hands. Valero has one-punch KO power.

Both men are willing to take two to land one.

IMO, Katsidis will try to bully his way in to land his own shots. He will try to put a lot of pressure on Valero and smother his own punches. The puzzle will be to minimize the price he pay to get inside.

Valero by 5th round TKO. A left will catch Katsidis on the way in and lights out.

Valero could win this in the first round with multiple knockdowns.

    darchinyan better than kat yes.

i think kat is a proper aussie, which is why i would like to see him succeed. .. as much as im not a huge fan from my associations with him during his early fights.
