    when valero is fighting an opponent who takes the fight to him he barely throws a straight punch at all.
    he throws mainly wide punches hoping for one to connect for the ko.

    he has never fought anyone who will attack back like katsidis will.

    Katsidis will be trying to pressure him and make it inside but end up eating a nice straight left down the pipe. If Casamayor can keep decking him with single shots then Valero who possesses twice the power should be able to ice Michael with a single flush shot. Being a southpaw is a tremendous advantage in boxing because most orthodox fighters will rarely face them and thus have little experience. Against a southpaw with fight ending power in both hands I think Katsidis will be out cold within 4 rounds.
