Valero is very basic skill level wise, gamboa would easily outbox him and beat him up, the intresting matter would be his defense, with it like it is valero will hit and most likely big, and there is a good chance he takes out gamboa, i think gamboa would stop him but i wouldn't be suprised if valero takes hm out either

Gamboa is fun to watch but he is a highlight reel KO just waiting to happen. Valero by brutal stoppage in which it takes a full 5 minutes of smelling salt action to inform Gamboa of what just happened.

What fight has gamboa been truly hurt in and looking like he might be KO'd, he's been knocked down in the main because of his bad balance

I think the fact that he has a tendency to leap headfirst into punches coupled with Valero's power equals doom for Gamboa. I have not seem him look "truly hurt" in any of his fights thus far, but I assure you he would do the chicken dance once he meets Valero. :!:

Yeah like Nallege said theyre both entertaining but I think at the moment valero has more power and experience which at this time would result in Gamboa getting KO'd

Possibly valero would knock him out, i not disputing that, but valero has top 5 p4p power at the moment, he could KO a lot of people, people with good chins if he hits them right, what i was disputing is your viewpoint he is a KO waiting to happen when he has never been hurt.

I see a lot of Zab Judah in him. Like when Judah was coming up and getting dropped against "B" level opposition. He was never seriously hurt on those occasions either, but the mere fact that that level of opposition was able to connect that cleanly and that often was a bad sign. Once Judah started mixing it up with guys that had legitimate power, he couldn't get away with it anymore as the world class shots have much greater impact and lasting effect. Only time will tell if I am right or wrong about Gamboa, but I think he will be another Judah due to his defensive flaws - scoring great KO's against the "B" and under opposition due to his nice offensive abilities, but losing to the true elite (in emphatic fashion) due to his defensive flaws.

These two wackos are both unproven.

They need to fight someone already tested to gauge their true worth.

Well, Valero would have knocked Gonzales out inside of three. But styles make fights so its a tough call. I can't see Gamboa surviving a knockdown though.

Unlike those other bums that knocked down Gamboa ... Valero is not a journeyman ... he's a true world champion and he's alot stronger naturally than those guys ...

If Gamboa gets too cocky and gives Valero an opening (which he will if they ever fought) then its good night for Gamboa.
