Ok ive been reading around and i was wondering if you think this guy Edwin Valero is the real deal because he is 22-0 with 22 ko's. I dont know if any one has posted a thread about this guy but he won the wba super feather weight title. Do you guys think he is all hype givin the fact that he has not fought or been cleared to fight in the u.s.a!!

    What do you guys think?

I was reading on him earlier - guess we'll have to buy the PPV and see what he looks like. Hard to make a jugdement on someone that I've never seen fight. Unlike this guy above me :think

Well he's been the name out there to dethrone Pac for some time but Ive never seen huim fight. Only clips. I know one thing.....he looks like a mexican Elvis. Barerra also said at the last Pac fight that Pac cant beat Valero for what thats worth

18 straight 1st round KO's is impressive no matter who you fight. You would've thought at least one of them could survive 3 minutes. I just wish they would let him fight in America!

I have seen 2 of his fights now....and some clips. I am not impressed at all. Not even a little. He makes Margarito look like Mayweather when it comes to actual technique.

yea ive seen a couple of his fights. I mean.....:think he is a ok fighter. He looks more like a brawler than anything from the fight i watched. Its hard to judge how good he REALLY is till he gets over here. I mean would you guys say he has definite punching power? Or do you guys think he is just knocking out no so good competition?

I think USC 04 would beat USC 05 by at least 10 points:deal

But to answer your question lol, he seems to have great power, but his delivery is abysmal.

Valero is wild swinger who is in love with his power and will be beat as soon as he fights a top guy.

Oh he can punch alright , it's the rest of his abilities that most of us are concerned about . He stopped both Honmo and Mosquera , not an easy feat to acomplish . However his opposition other than that has been very poor .

I'd love to see him take on Barrios .

exciting fighter to watch, still untested needs to step up but he cant fight in the States and that will hurt his chances of fighting the top guys.maybe he could fight Guzman i would like to see that.

exciting but untested... basing on his 3 fights i've seen his chin won't hold up once he steps up the competition.
