Mosquera... he was more of a B level guy to me... B-... The guy that he beat for the belt was coming off of a win over Steve Forbes and for some reason is now fighting at 140.... It was Valero's first step up against a good fighter and he passed.... Gave Mosquera a beating... Got dropped in the process but bounced back like nothing happened and did wat he usually does.. knock out... Valero should go after guys like Baloyi, St Claire, Fana...

Valero is too big and hits too hard for lil Pacman. Don't let the De La Hoya fight fool you. De La Hoya that night couldn't break and egg and was slow as **** due to draining his body lower than it has been in years.

Valero ko's Pacman! Name a fighter that Pacman has fought with the power of Valero? Never!

i remember when yahoo news raved about him being the next big thing alas tyson. I am part venezuelan and would love to see him succeed, but he is super 1 dimensional and will get badly exposed by ring craftmen such as marquez etc.

    the story continues..

Valero's power is overrated. He's heavy handed, but not to the (P4P) degree or a Foreman or Shavers. He just clubs, every time he swings he's wide open, JMM would brutalize him, and I'd hate to think what would happen if he thought Pac, who could outbox, or outfight Valero.

JMM has a great chin and is a complete fighter which is why he is better than Pac. Valero at least has a punchers chance aginst Pac. I don't want to see Valero fighting Pac or JMM because I worry about Valeros health

I think the accident he had and pretty much having to fight out of Japan because of it has a lot to do with Valero's current skill level. He's managed to win a version of the title so as crude as he maybe he can't be that bad.
