Edwina Hearn getting involved in womens boxing..what do we think?

    Yeah, that's true.
    Thing is, boxing promoters are interested in profits so they aren't going to pay women boxing champions above their value.
    Filler for undercards is what they will be until or unless a bona fide star with legitimate rivals comes along.

    Solid competition is for hardcore boxing fans. Create a 'star' and the casuals will lock onto it regardless of opposition. See Anthony Joshua for reference. If Eddie builds up Katie the way I think he will she could fight mentally handicapped women and still succeed financially.

    This is true.
    This is what boxing has become.
    Promoters have always tried it on like that and always with some success .... but only for a while ! Sooner or later they get called out and found out.
    But nowadays they seem to get away with it for as long as they want.
    At least in women's boxing there's a more legitimate excuse for it.
