I was thinking the exact samething. Tho I do remember not too long ago fighters like American born Johnny Tapia, Michael Carbajal, and Orlando Canizales were pretty popular in their day. But yea, America is a nation of immigrants after all , and most if not all foreign fighters end up living there anyways, it only takes time for the fans to warm up to them. If they can connect with fans in and out the ring, it's all gravy man. GGG is a perfect example of that. And you bet many native fighters might get resentful, but hey, they have to up their game. It's working for Crawford.

Hopkins would probably be on top, Stevenson-Hopkins the big fight to decide supremacy of the division.

You mean no Klitschko, but you could take out Povetkin and Pulev since they're Eastern European.

We'd have Tyson Fury, Bermane Stiverne vying for supremacy at the top of the division. David Haye might be sniffing around too.

Cotto-Canelo would be masquerading as MW champs.

If you had extended it to Europe, you could have added Froch at SMW since he's basically been carrying the division for 3-4 years.
