Efe Ajagba vs. Charles Martin set for February 15

Martin to hit the canvas again.

 

Decent fight

 

Potentially interesting fight. At his best, I think Martin was better than Ajagba. But, honestly, that is more an indictment of the robotic Ajagba, than praise of Martin. At this point, Marin is pushing 40 and hasn't had a meaningful win in years. So, it will probably be hot garbage. But, if somehow Martin came in motivated, he could catch Efe with something big. Ajagba doesn't exactly have stellar defense. And despite his massive, muscular frame, Ajagba doesn't seem to have a particularly strong chin. I have seen him shaken up by some sub-par punchers.

 

Decent fight, but I thought Martin had retired, he's not fought in over a year.

Ajagba is prime, Martin is not and I can see Ajagba landing his right hand against the southpaw Martin and stopping him.

 

Ajagba will win easily. He's better than given credit for.

 

Ajagba is underrated. He deserved the win against Bakole and he did better against Sanchez than the judges gave him credit for. This should be fun while it lasts.

 

Martin doesn't have a promoter, his last fight was on some random small card which was not even televised.

Martin's career has basically been over since sleepwalking to a loss to Kownacki.

 

Martin suffering from insomnia? Because Ajagba is putting him to sleep. Early.

 

Ajagba on points - if he carries over his last performance from Bakole.

 

He did string together a half decent 3 fight win streak after that loss, but then got murdered by Ortiz. It was actually an amazing fight, but it seems like it flew under the radar of even most hardcore fans.
Also exposed Anderson, for what its worth.

A fight he should have won if he didn't wait ti start fighting from round 6. Kownacki was also somewhat relevant at the time.

 

This is a fight that almost no one cares about

 

Not all that exciting, but it Martin's got anything left it could be moderately interesting.

Ajagba is overrated - but Martin's old and wasn't ever all that special... Efe should win, really, but it wouldn't surprise me if he found a way to look awful doing it, or even to lose.
