I will always be on the side of any boxer named Guido, which in some quarters is an insult.

I think Shaw wins this, he puts his shots together pretty well for a heavyweight when hes inside and Ajagba needs some distance to generate power on his right hand.

It will be dangerous for Shaw early but I think Ajagba is too one dimensional and has no real sense of urgency even when hes behind like in the Sanchez fight where he was just plodding around.
Shaw's punch resistance is obviously still a question mark but unless Ajagba catches him flush I think he will be able to handle his power

I don't think Ajagba is as one dimensional as people say. I think Wilder is technically worse than him. And Shaw has fought absolutely nobody. This isn't some huge jump in class for Ajagba, while this is probably the best fighter Shaw has faced.

Wilder has a vast edge in athleticism over Ajagba though which allows him to get away with not being technically sound and makes him a lot more unpredictable.
I agree that hes by far the best opponent Shaw has faced but I'm basing my prediction mostly on the eye test rather than what he has accomplished and I think he has the style and skills to beat Ajagba

I'm happy and excited to see Shaw tonight. I've see him fight as an amateur multiple times and have talked to him before. Really good guy that loves the sport. A lot of folks don't know much about him but he has a pretty deep amateur background and was raised in a boxing family. Was an alternate for the 2012 Olympic team while he was going to college.

No idea. Shaw is probably the better boxer, but is he ready for this? Could be a case of a guy sitting on the sidelines for too long and losing to the less skilled but more hungry opponent. Close to a 50/50 fight.

Haven't seen much tape on Vianello, but Rice is obviously much better than his record would suggest. If Vianello is packing china, or just isn't cut out for the pros there's a very good chance that Rice exposes him.
