Things to note - the way Frazier begins to duck and dive when Ali plants his feet, closing the gap in incriments. How he keeps his left foot inside Ali's left foot when stalking him. How he uses a change of direction to finally close the gap. Cutting of the ring is about, stalking, finding a way to close the gap on the runner, delivering and avoiding punishment whilst doing these. Judah did it against Spinks. Spinks is a very slippery dude and almost impossible to find and when you do catch up to him, he holds you. Judah was able to trap him against the ropes and cut off the ring while still staying at a range where spinks couldn't tie him up and landed that nice left. Also Castillo did it to Floyd in their first fight.
Margerito showed that to the extreme against Cotto. It was uncomfortable just to watch it. On the plus, we saw more flash from cotto than weve ever seen befoe.
